Terms and Conditions

(OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia Professional Affiliate Programme)

  1. The list of eligible organisations, associations, institutions and/or corporation is subject to change at the sole discretion of JAECOO Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“JAMSB”).
  2. In the case of an eligible corporation, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the company name.
  3. In the case of an eligible individual, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the individual's name or that of his immediate family member (spouse, parents or children).
  4. Registration under immediate family member will require documentation proof such as marriage certificate or birth certificate, whichever applicable.
  5. Customer shall submit all required documentations to CAMSB's authorised dealers, failing which the application will not be processed by CAMSB.
  6. Eligible customer shall only be entitled to all the benefits or the purchase of brand-new OMODA & JAECOO vehicle from CAMSB's authorised dealers.
  7. The applicability, computation and allowances of the benefits in each purchase shall be subject to approval by CAMSB at its absolute discretion.
  8. All decisions made by CAMSB are final and no appeals or discussions will be entertained.
  9. CAMSB reserves the right to terminate the Professional Affiliate Programme at any time without prior notice.
  10. By submitting the application to CAMSB's authorised dealers, the customer affirms that he has read, understood, and agreed to the policies in CAMSB's Privacy Policy and consent to his personal data being processed and used by CAMSB as stipulated in the said Privacy Policy in OMODA & JAECOO official website.
  11. These Terms and Conditions may be amended, replaced and/or deleted at any time in CAMSB's sole discretion.

5 Things to Know About the Upcoming OMODA C9 PHEV: SHS

Things are heating up in the automotive world with news of another upcoming launch of an exciting new vehicle courtesy of OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia. Furiously debuting one impressive car after another, here's yet another one teased for the Malaysian masses. 

Since the luxury off-road SUV coupé OMODA C9 launched earlier in December 2024, the D-segment SUV has proven that luxury styling, features and performance need not cost an arm and a leg. Now, hot on its heels comes a highly anticipated PHEV version, the plug-in hybrid OMODA C9 PHEV: SHS, introducing Malaysia to another top-notch hybrid variant from the brand. 

If the handsome looks of the ICE version of the OMODA C9 appeal to you, then the PHEV variant will be welcomed since it's almost identical, save for some small styling differences (a blue emblem, slight front bumper design change). Interior features are identical as well, such as ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and a large instrument cluster. 

Beyond that, here are 5 ways the PHEV of the OMODA C9 variant stands out as Malaysia's latest hybrid SUV.   

  1. Humungous Power 

When we say humungous, we mean humungous: powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 3 electric motors, and a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) for a combined system output of 395kW and 650nm of torque. Those are the kind of performance numbers that aren't to be trifled with. It's a significant upgrade from the ICE version, which delivers 261ps and 400nm of torque. 

With these numbers, this PHEV SUV can manage the century sprint in a mere 4.9 secs!

  1. 3 Electric Motors 

It has not one, or two, but three electric motors. This means the OMODA C9 PHEV: SHS is an all-wheel drive vehicle with a rear electric motor rated at 175kW and 310nm of torque. The two electric motors at the front provide 165kW and 390nm

  1. Long EV Range 

These electric motors are powered by a 34.46 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a total pure EV range of up to 150km (WLTP). In hybrid mode, this PHEV SUV provides a total driving range of 1,100km, possible on a single full tank and a full charge. 

  1. Advanced hybrid tech 

The SHS in the OMODA C9 PHEV: SHS stands for Super Hybrid System, already seen in the impressive JAECOO J7 PHEV: SHS with its supremely smooth, responsive, and efficient drive. Here, the system is an upgraded one with a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) which is expected to provide the same peer-leading long-range endurance mileage, yet tuned for higher performance.

Charging-wise, this PHEV SUV supports up to 70 kW of DC fast charging (30% to 80% in 25 minutes), and AC charging up to 6.6 kW, taking just under six hours for a full charge.
