Terms and Conditions

(OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia Professional Affiliate Programme)

  1. The list of eligible organisations, associations, institutions and/or corporation is subject to change at the sole discretion of JAECOO Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“JAMSB”).
  2. In the case of an eligible corporation, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the company name.
  3. In the case of an eligible individual, the vehicle purchased must be registered under the individual's name or that of his immediate family member (spouse, parents or children).
  4. Registration under immediate family member will require documentation proof such as marriage certificate or birth certificate, whichever applicable.
  5. Customer shall submit all required documentations to JAMSB's authorised dealers, failing which the application will not be processed by JAMSB.
  6. Eligible customer shall only be entitled to all the benefits or the purchase of brand-new OMODA & JAECOO vehicle from JAMSB's authorised dealers.
  7. The applicability, computation and allowances of the benefits in each purchase shall be subject to approval by JAMSB at its absolute discretion.
  8. All decisions made by JAMSB are final and no appeals or discussions will be entertained.
  9. JAMSB reserves the right to terminate the Professional Affiliate Programme at any time without prior notice.
  10. By submitting the application to JAMSB's authorised dealers, the customer affirms that he has read, understood, and agreed to the policies in JAMSB's Privacy Policy and consent to his personal data being processed and used by JAMSB as stipulated in the said Privacy Policy in OMODA & JAECOO official website.
  11. Only cars manufactured in 2026 are eligible for PAP.
  12. These Terms and Conditions may be amended, replaced and/or deleted at any time in JAMSB's sole discretion.

JAECOO J5: Get To Know 2026's First New Launch! 

2026 looks like it's off to a great start for OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia as the brand prepares to launch its latest premium SUV, the JAECOO J5. 

You may have missed the opportunity to see the JAECOO J5 in the flesh during its 2025 preview, so here's your chance to catch up on what's gearing up to be an exciting addition to OMODA & JAECOO's premium SUV offerings in Malaysia. 

Here's what you should know about this new premium SUV coming soon to a showroom near you.  

The Specs 

The J5 is positioned as the brand's entry-level car, billed as "The Everyday Superstar." It's a B-segment compact crossover designed to appeal to younger, aspirational buyers looking to dip their toes into premium motoring, or those seeking a stylish, practical everyday vehicle.

The J5 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 108 kW (147 PS) and 210 Nm of torque. The engine features the latest-generation 16-valve double overhead camshaft (DOHC) with Double Variable Valve Timing (DVVT) cylinder head technologies, for balanced power outputs and efficiency. Paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), this drivetrain provides smooth, efficient, and responsive driving. 

A key highlight is the J5's suspension comprising front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link, which is rare in the B-segment SUV space.

The JAECOO J5's fuel consumption is rated at 7.5 litres/100km (NEDC).

Design 

The J5 takes similar design cues from its bigger sibling, the JAECOO J7: bold, boxy, muscular haunches and a distinctive large grill which gives the SUV its premium, rugged vibes. 

The SUV rides on practical-sized 18-inch wheels with 480 litres of boot space, expandable to 1,284 litres by folding down the 60:40 split-folding rear seats.

Interior 

The cabin features a large vertical 13.2-inch 2K infotainment screen, and a seamless and minimalist 8-inch digital instrument cluster. The J5 also comes with a large panoramic moonroof (1.45 sqm) and an 8-speaker sound system. 

Its comprehensive array of safety features 540-surround view camera and a level 2+ ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, low-speed follow and collision mitigation systems.  

Built for Fur-kids  

Pet-parents, this is the SUV for you! Its interiors are TÜV-certified (a German-based certification for pet-safe products), meaning its materials won't harm your pets and features low VOC for their health and comfort. OMODA & JAECOO also claims 99.9% bacterial inhibition rate. 

With all these specs, features and an estimated starting price of RM110,000, OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia could be looking at another hit.
